About Me

I have had a long-time passion for video game development, sparked by a fascination in creating interactive art and curiosity regarding the inner workings of computers. I am also driven by the potential for positive impact within interactive media; the educational possibilities of video games truly speak to me, along with the sense of community found in open-source projects. I pride myself on being highly adaptable, a self-driven learner, and an adept problem solver who is eager to bring creative visions to life.

I am currently a computer science major in the game design and development minor at Michigan State University. I had the opportunity to work as an intern at MSU's Games for Entertainment and Learning (GEL) Lab during the summer of 2023, and I have been involved with MSU's game development club, Spartasoft, since the Spring 2021 semester. During my time at MSU, I have gained a wide variety of experience from all sorts of classes, including the collaborative environment of the game design and development minor and computer science capstone experience, the self-driven environment of MI 431 Advanced Game Development, and the specialized focus of various computer science electives, such as those focusing on computer graphics and multimedia computing.

My interest in Michigan State University’s offerings for game design and development started in the summer of 2017, with my participation in the Beginner Video Game Design through MSU Media Camps, which was followed up in 2018 with the Advanced Video Game Design camp. In 2021, I graduated from Lansing Community College’s Early College program with an Associate’s in Science in Transfer Studies, with honors.
